Medical Laboratory Technologist - Histopathology - Level 1
Please wait... MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To perform routine laboratory tests in accordance with professional and regulatory standards and guidelines
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A relevant Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory sciences or a related field
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 3-5 years' full time experience as a medical laboratory technologist in Anatomic Pathology
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Correct maintenance of instrumentation according to manufacturer's guidelines Knowledgeable in Approved International Accreditation Standards or equivalent Knowledgeable in laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and instrumentation troubleshooting Laboratory information systems and reporting Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications Understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
