About the job MECHANICAL ENGINEER - TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring they meet project specifications and performance standards.
Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in coordination with project teams.
Conduct functional and performance tests on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process, ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency.
Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and handover of mechanical systems.
Prepare detailed commissioning reports, documenting test results, system performance, and any corrective actions taken.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during commissioning activities.
Participate in project meetings, providing updates on commissioning progress and addressing any challenges encountered.
Provide training and handover documentation to operations and maintenance personnel.
Support the project close-out process, ensuring all commissioning documentation is complete and accurate.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Testing and Commissioning Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the construction or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, testing procedures, and commissioning standards.
Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic tools for mechanical systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and coordination abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
