Job Description
- Collaborate with the project team to develop mechanical designs for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Perform site assessments to gather data for project planning and execution.
- Design and oversee the installation of HVAC systems in construction projects.
- Conduct thermal and energy efficiency analyses for HVAC systems.
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality installation.
- Coordinate the integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines such as electrical and plumbing.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase to resolve mechanical engineering issues.
- Develop project timelines and milestones related to mechanical engineering tasks.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Work closely with project managers to address any engineering-related challenges.
- Conduct quality control checks on mechanical systems installations.
- Perform inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings and specifications.
- Generate reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
