About the job Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and machinery
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project timelines for mechanical engineering projects
  • Ensure that all mechanical systems and designs comply with safety standards and regulations
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostic tests, and repairs on mechanical systems to maintain optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and other engineers
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations related to project progress and completion
  • Manage suppliers, contractors, and ensure the delivery of projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor the implementation of mechanical solutions and systems on construction sites
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the UAE or GCC region
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, construction processes, and project management
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other mechanical design tools
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical codes and standards
  • UAE Driving License is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in large-scale industrial or construction projects in the UAE or GCC
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues
