Job Description
Beond, the world's first premium leisure airline, is looking for an experienced MCC Manager to join our innovative team. As the MCC Manager, you will be responsible for the real-time technical management and operational reliability of the airline’s fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft. You will lead the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) team, ensuring efficient troubleshooting, defect rectification, and coordination between engineering, flight operations, and maintenance providers to minimize aircraft downtime and maximize dispatch reliability.
Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day technical operations of the airline’s fleet, ensuring aircraft serviceability in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Provide real-time troubleshooting support and technical guidance to Line Maintenance and Flight Crews to resolve AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and in-flight technical issues.
- Ensure effective coordination between flight operations, CAMO, planning, and maintenance teams to optimize aircraft availability and minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor and manage MEL (Minimum Equipment List) and CDL (Configuration Deviation List) compliance, ensuring timely rectification of deferred defects.
AOG & Disruptions Management:
- Lead AOG recovery efforts by coordinating with OEMs, MROs, and parts suppliers to minimize downtime.
- Manage logistics for spare parts, tooling, and manpower to ensure efficient defect rectification at outstations.
- Provide technical support for unscheduled maintenance events, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
Compliance & Safety Oversight:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and airline procedures.
- Maintain airworthiness standards and ensure adherence to company SMS (Safety Management System) policies.
- Coordinate with CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) for defect trends and reliability improvements.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of Maintenance Controllers, providing training and performance management.
- Ensure the MCC team is staffed appropriately and operates in a 24/7 shift environment to provide continuous support.
- Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving within the MCC team
