We are constantly growing and are currently looking for two (2) seasoned and mature Materials Managers to join our Technical Office team, working for large projects in our Energy Division; the role will be based in the Site Office.

Role summary:



The Materials Manager is responsible for the overall material management function as part of the project Technical Office team.

What you will need to do:



Lead the team of Materials Control under the overall custody of the Technical Office Liaise with the Engineering Team to review the Materials Take-Offs and setup the materials control files and spool production schedules Liaise with Project Controls Team to support the activity-based costing requirements Guide the Stores Team to physically manage the project materials and record the accounting entries Liaise with the Stores Team to review and monitor the physical inventory of materials / spare parts. Make sure that all stock items are in the system and in line with the company / coding standards. Comply with all company’s safety regulations and policies/procedures related to materials management activities.

What you will need to have:



Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or specific degree in Materials Management Managerial experience in materials management (at least 1 major EPC project) Previous experience in large Oil & Gas Projects is required; ADNOC experience is highly preferable Computer literate (MS Office) with hands on experience in Material Management Software (EPC Proman or similar) Previous experience with projects in Middle East is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Possesses excellent leadership, communication and co-operation skills. Demonstrate ability to build strong working relationships and manage reporting at Project level with people of various cultures and nationalities. Possesses excellent analytical skills.
