• Implementation of the HSE Company policy.• Conduct Familiarization & Safety Induction programs for all new joiners.• Conducts regular HSE meetings.• Issues Master Order and Instructions.• Conduct regular inspections & safety meetings onboard as per Company MSMS.• Reviews the Marine Safety Management System and reports any deficiencies.• Overriding authority with respect to safety and pollution prevention.• Authority for action in the interest of the passengers, crew, vessel and the environment.• Implement the ISPS code onboard the ship as per Company Ship Security Plan.• ISPS & ISM codes and its requirements.• Ensure the vessels class and statutory certification is up to date.• Ensure and implement voyage planning and safety of navigationSkills Required• A min. qualification required is Class 1 master FG COC II/2 with No limitations.• Minimum of 3-4 years experience as master Offshore.• Good English communication skills.• Experienced in towing and anchor handling related to pipe laying operations.• Experienced in handling heavy mooring anchors of 50-70 Metric tons gravity block type.• Experienced in working in the Arabian Gulf Offshore Oilfield.• Good understanding of safe practices related to anchor handling / towing operations.
