DESCRIPTION:
- We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Marketing Specialist to help
cement the company’s dominance in the Middle East by executing local campaigns,
amplifying brand awareness and connecting with fitness communities.
- The Marketing Specialist – Middle East will be directly and functionally
reporting to the Regional Manager & Global Marketing Manager (HQ).
- As Marketing Specialist – Middle East, you will be responsible for
developing and executing marketing campaigns driving localized initiatives that
strengthen our leadership position in the region. Working closely with the
regional manager, local teams and the company’s Global Marketing Manager, you
will adapt global strategies to fit the unique cultural and consumer landscape
of the Middle East - ensuring the company’s brand resonates with gym owners,
fitness professionals and enthusiasts.
- This role requires a creative and analytical marketer who understands
regional fitness trends, digital marketing strategies, and brand-building
tactics. This is an opportunity for a strategic, creative and results-driven
marketer to make a tangible impact on brand storytelling, engagement and
business growth in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
Brand Strategy & Local Market Execution
- Adapt and execute the company’s global marketing strategy to align with
Middle Eastern market trends, cultural nuances, and fitness industry growth.
- Strengthen the company’s presence in the region by ensuring consistent
brand messaging and engagement across all marketing channels.
- Build and nurture relationships with local influencers, fitness
professionals, and brand ambassadors to maximize brand visibility.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in fitness and wellness, positioning the
company as a thought leader in the industry.
Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Develop and execute high-impact local digital campaigns to increase
brand awareness and lead generation across platforms like Instagram, TikTok,
Facebook, Snapchat.
- Optimize content for regional SEO and leverage local insights to drive
engagement.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (KPIs), audience insights, and
campaign effectiveness to optimize future marketing activities.
- Leverage analytics tools like.
- Implement paid digital marketing strategies, including PPC, social media
ads, and re-targeting campaigns.
Content Development & Storytelling
- Work closely with designers, photographers, and videographers to create
compelling fitness-focused content that engages and resonates with the Middle
Eastern audience.
- Oversee the creation of blogs, videos, email campaigns, and product
marketing materials tailored for the regional market.
- Manage email marketing campaigns to engage and nurture customers,
including newsletters and promotional sequences.
Event & Community Engagement
- Plan and execute local events, product activations, and fitness industry
partnerships to drive brand loyalty and community engagement.
- Represent the company at fitness expos, trade shows, and industry
events, ensuring brand presence is impactful and engaging.
- Develop strategies to connect directly with customers and fitness
communities across the region.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
- Work closely with HQ marketing and sales teams to ensure an integrated,
aligned approach to marketing in the Middle East.
- Partner with regional agencies, vendors, and media partners to maximize
campaign effectiveness and visibility.
- Align marketing efforts with local distributors and gym partners to
amplify the company’s impact in the market.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of marketing experience (preferably in fitness, health, or
wellness industries).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and
influencer partnerships.
- Experience with marketing analytics, and content management tools (e.g.,
Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp, Canva).
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging ideas,
storytelling, branding, and execution skills.
- Ability to localize global marketing strategies for the Middle East
market.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in measuring ROI and
optimizing campaigns.
- Passion for fitness and understanding of the industry’s latest trends
and consumer behaviours.
- Preferably Arabic Speaker/Female.
- Experience with video editing and graphic design tools (Adobe Premiere,
Photoshop).
- Previous work with fitness influencers or gym partnerships in the Middle
East.
- Strong ability to interpret market research data and consumer behaviour
insights.
