Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the company’s plastic products and services. This role involves building brand awareness, managing product launches, coordinating marketing campaigns, and enhancing market share within the plastics industry. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector, particularly in plastic production.
Key Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify market opportunities and assess competitor activity to inform decision-making.
- Work closely with product development teams to plan and implement product launches.
Brand Management:
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
- Manage the company’s online presence, including the website, social media, and email campaigns.
- Develop promotional materials (brochures, product catalogs, etc.) and ensure they align with brand guidelines.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, and social media marketing.
- Analyze performance metrics (CTR, conversions, etc.) to optimize online marketing initiatives.
- Leverage online tools and platforms to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and areas of opportunity in the plastics market.
- Monitor and report on industry trends and consumer preferences.
- Work with sales teams to translate market insights into actionable sales tactics.
Campaign Management:
- Plan, design, and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels (print, online, and trade events).
- Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize future initiatives based on performance.
- Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners for marketing materials and services.
Sales Support:
- Support the sales team with marketing collateral and tools (presentations, brochures, etc.).
- Ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives to boost lead generation and conversion.
- Participate in sales meetings and customer presentations when necessary.
Budgeting & Reporting:
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Provide regular reports on marketing performance, including ROI analysis.
- Present results and recommendations to senior management.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and organize trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events to showcase the company’s products.
- Coordinate sponsorships and partnerships for industry events to maximize visibility.
Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the manufacturing or plastics industry.
- Strong knowledge of B2B marketing strategies, with experience in product marketing.
