Job Description

Pearl Marine DMCC is seeking a Marketing Executive to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The Marketing Executive is responsible for the procurement and sales of marine fuels, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. The role involves market research, business development, risk management and negotiation with suppliers and clients. 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain relationships with ship owners, ship operators, bunker traders and bunker suppliers/brokers to gain maximise business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze global bunker market trends, prices and demand-supply dynamics.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and customers to expand market share.
  • Assist in application of credit approval for new customers.
  • Assist to review credit limits for existing customers as and when the need arises based on market condition/information/news.
  • Negotiate bunker fuel prices and terms with suppliers and customers to optimize profitability.
  • Assist to carry out due diligence before/upon sales and purchases so as to ensure customers are financially sound at the point of sales.
  • Process bunker orders, ensuring smooth coordination of delivery and documentation.
  • Manage risk exposure, including credit risks and price fluctuations, through hedging strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and environmental policies.
  • Ensure company compliance policies are adhered to for all transactions.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance and relevant teams to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Monitor the payment performance of each customer closely.
  • Handle claims and disputes related to fuel quality, quantity or delivery.
  • Any ad hoc tasks assigned by the Management.
