Job Summary:


The Head of Marketing is accountable for the development and delivery of strategic and tactical marketing plans designed to generate demand, leads and pipeline that enables our businesses to achieve their organic growth targets. They will build and manage a creative, multi-channel focused marketing department that builds brand awareness and reputation, delivers leads and pipeline and measures and reports on the return on our marketing investment. The role reports directly to the Group Leader of the Modaxo AMEA business and will have the AMEA marketing team reporting directly to them. The role liaises directly with the Managing Directors of the 3 Business Units in AMEA to support them with the creation and delivery of each of their marketing plans.

Job Description:


Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide marketing functional leadership ensuring adoption of best practices & key metrics.
  • Strategic marketing business partner to the leaders of the business including providing support, guidance, and mentorship.
  • Ensure Sales and Marketing alignment that drives new business, new department & B2B growth.
  • Coach and mentor to direct marketing team resources.
  • Accountable for driving the development & execution of the overall marketing & brand strategy.
  • Responsible for the delivery and management of external company communications and PR.
  • Responsible for the demand generation and content strategy for each business.
  • Responsible for the website strategy, ensuring each website performs against key metrics.
  • Accountable for the creation & delivery of Go-To-Market plans (GTMs) for 3 AMEA business units.
  • Accountable for the integrated delivery plan across marketing channels (web, blog, email, social..)
  • Ensure we sponsor, participate, attend and measures ROMI from appropriate industry events.
  • Accountable for setting & achieving marketing lead/pipeline (new & influence) targets.
  • Continuously refine plans and tactics based on metrics to drive required pipeline & sales growth.
  • Use sales/marketing data to report & analyse results providing insights to guide business strategy.
  • Accountable for defining key marketing objectives for each business.
  • Measurements including engagement, leads, pipeline, marketing channel effectiveness & ROMI.
  • Accountable for planning and managing the MarTech stack including Marketo, SFDC, WordPress
  • Accountable for developing team scorecards that support achieving the goals.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Ability to act in a self-directed self-motivated manner, demonstrating initiative, innovation, and the ability to juggle competing priorities through outstanding time management skills.
  • Metrics-driven with the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Commercially savvy with an understanding of key business drivers
  • The ability to quickly adopt CSI/Modaxo business philosophy and best practices.
  • Agile, willingness to take “controlled” risks and engage with regular experimentation.
  • Highly developed and proven organisational and personal communication skills.
  • A strong client service mind-set focused on understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Ability to successfully consult and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement and oversee innovative digital marketing programs.
  • Degree qualified (postgraduate desirable) in Marketing or a business-related discipline.
