Job Description
This role is a temporary placement for 6 months.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for MBC Studios' film and TV productions, ensuring alignment with the overall studio vision.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials (trailers, posters, social media content, press kits) for theatrical, streaming, and broadcast releases.
- Collaborate with creative agencies, PR teams, and internal departments to craft impactful promotional campaigns.
- Manage media planning and advertising across TV, digital, print, and outdoor platforms for theatrical releases.
- Analyze Theatrical, Streaming and Broadcast campaign performance and optimize strategies based on audience insights and industry trends.
Distribution Support & Sales Marketing:
- Work closely with the sales representatives to develop B2B marketing materials for content licensing and international sales.
- Create content distribution strategies, ensuring films and series reach the right markets and platforms (SVOD, TV, theatrical, etc.).
- Prepare compelling pitch decks and presentations for distributors, streaming platforms, and broadcasters.
- Monitor market trends and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities for MBC Studios' content.
Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration:
- Act as the key marketing liaison between MBC Studios, MBC Shahid, MBC Group TV channels, and external distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors, streaming platforms, and film festivals.
- Work alongside MBC Talent and MBC Academy to promote regional storytelling and talent development.
Event & Industry Presence:
- Lead MBC Studios’ marketing presence at major industry events such as Saudi Film Confex, Cannes, Berlinale, and MIPCOM.
- Coordinate press and media engagements to enhance MBC Studios' global brand positioning.
- Oversee sponsorships and promotional activations that strengthen MBC Studios' industry footprint.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in content marketing, distribution, or film/TV content promotion.
- Strong understanding of regional and international content distribution dynamics.
- Proven experience in campaign management, content marketing, and audience engagement.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management, strategic planning, and sales support.
- Passion for storytelling and the entertainment industry.
- Strong command of Arabic and English.
- Multitasker
