Job Responsibility:


  • Prepare the design of a wide range of marine structures, including production of technical reports, written calculations, design briefs, specifications, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like.
  • Follow design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
  • Adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Check compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals.
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System.
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices.
  • HSE – Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Education & experience:


  • A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership preferable
  • Familiar with British, European and International standards and other construction practices, such as PIANC.
  • Knowledge of the design of a range of marine structures such as different types of quay walls, jetties, dolphins, sea water intakes/outfalls and pumping stations.
  • Experienced in the use of industry software.

Job Specific Experience:


  • Relevant design experience on a range of marine projects.

Preference will be given to candidates with:


  • Experience working in the Middle East.
