Job Description
- Involve in early stage during selection of marine logistics agency and review and terms and conditions of subcontract / service agreement.
- Track order acknowledgment, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports and provides visibility of potential interruptions to customers.
- Ensure smooth flow of the logistic activities by identifying the potential weakness/obstacles.
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations until products or services are delivered to Customer.
- Clear the shipments and avail duty exemption, FANR, TRA and ESMA approval for Oil & Gas Companies.
- Work with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed.
- Planning, coordinating and supervising various activities related to vessels movement, arrival, departure, berthing and un-berthing, discharge of various imports and loading different types of cargo on vessels.
- Promote safety in port, transit and while transporting shipments by road to and from the supply vessels to logistics/marine base as per company’s HSSE policy
- Supervise the vessel movement in close coordination with Mussafah base and other sites for sailing instructions, supply of project goods, food provision & other necessary needs.
- Plan and coordinate logistics activities such as ship chartering activities including the sourcing of ships, liaising with vessel owner & charterers, negotiations of chartering contracts & monitoring of agreed terms and its implementations
- Develop, establish and implement ADNOC Offshore Marine Standards (relating to acceptance of Marine Vessels/ JACK UPS Units, crew safety training, marine contractors and Standing Instructions for Marine Operations), specific to Company requirements within Company Concession Areas/ Fields, for marine vessel/Units.
- Ensure and coordinate if warrants marine units mobilization inspection (Marine ,JUIMS, LIMS, HSE & Aviation) of Jack up barges/ Vessels and crew boat as per ADNOC Marine standards, follow ups and submission marine Inspection final close out reports with All supporting evidence, Verification and follow up for Field Entry Permits for Jack Up Barges and Vessels.
- Marine Transportation/ in a close co-ordination with ADNOC Drilling / Logistics base in ADNOC SHIPPING BASE IN ESNNAD – Supply well service for the project cargo mobilization from EEIC base to ADNOC shipping base to various artificial island under ADNOC offshore locations. including Production operations EPC projects including artificial Island.
- Mobilization Hazmat Cargoes (Ind Gases / Chemicals / RT sources/ Oil and Paints/ NDT material / Diesel Engine Operated Equipment to Offshore site Location.
- IMDG checklist/ Civil Defense /FANR approval: Organizing Or Coordinating for the required permission from Civil Defense /FANR Prior to the hazmat cargo movement from base to site locations
- Follow ups for LOA’ for processing CICPA and Vessel Navigation Licenses.
- Coordinating for vessel & barge daily report, Fuel & Water daily Consumption vessel utilization analysis and problem solving, Consumables & ROB, crew list, training matrix list matrix, rotation of overdue crew, senior sea personal staff interview and final approval.
- Liaise with the shipping Agents to ensure vessels permissions are valid for operating the vessel in the assigned region and ensure vessel documentations in order to be cleared in & out of any Ports and vessels operated in compliance with relevant local/International regulations.
- Control on the vessel material requisitions and follow up with the Procurement/Logistics team to ensure timely deliveries of critical & operational equipment.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the vessel for planning and implementing all crew movements & other communication and maintenance of all vessel & crew documents & certificates.
- Coordinating for Third Party services like Marine warranty survey, cargo marine Insurance and lifting tools & lifesaving periodical inspection.
- Undertakes on an ongoing basis a comprehensive study of physical distribution logistics for cargo, equipment and spare parts of all vehicles on the Das Island. Establish clear work methods and organize equipment movement, control and distribution for respective locations compatible with the established standard and procedures to fall in line with the plant requirement.
- Organizing / Coordination / Monitoring of third-party inspection: follow up and receive all order acceptances / confirmation from principal companies and arranging third party inspection prior to execution of the orders in time.
- Clearing & forwarding at destination port: Upon the Goods Arrival Notice from freight forwarder, and, coordinate with freight forwarder for clearance of goods from the port / airport / border. This will depend upon the delivery terms of the principal.
- Prepare and update monthly logistics, schedule to assure deliveries to customer’s site locations. Coordinate product delivery schedules with customers.
- Coordinate daily activity to track location and movement of inventory finished goods and raw materials, barges, and trucks. Provide reports to internal and external customers as required.
- Re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize costs Reviews inventory position daily and weekly against outstanding orders and sales forecasts and takes action to expedite inbound shipments to meet customer demands
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronics and communication/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management / Engineering or a Related Field.
Additional Information
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum: 5-8 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and warehousing for Oil & Gas EPC Projects.
- Experience and knowledge of global shipping and logistics management
- Experience with ERP solutions; Oracle, SAP
- Strong Demand Planning & Forecasting experience.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
