Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


Focus on new enquiries, renewals, and day-to-day maintenance of assigned accounts in the Marine team.
Handle all aspects of Account Management, including preparation of slips, endorsements, and renewal statistics.
Set up new policies and ensure they comply with underwriting requirements.
Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and problems, providing excellent customer service.
Maintain strong industry knowledge by staying up-to-date on relevant regulations and market trends.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:


Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree.
5+ years relevant experience in a similar role.
Proven experience working as a broker technician or as an Account Handler within the Marine Hull or Cargo space and have a passion for Marine Insurance.
Confident in demonstrating the company values of being accountable, entrepreneurial, collaborative, empowering, and disciplined.
Excellent IT and organizational skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
