Job Description

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a Construction Company under the umbrella of an investment group. Our client is looking to hire a Managing Director who will lead the organization's operations, ensuring financial growth and successful project delivery. This includes overseeing high-rise construction projects, driving business development, and maintaining operational efficiency. The role involves implementing strategic initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.


<b>Key Responsibilities:</b>
<b></b>- Oversee construction operations to deliver high-quality results.
- Drive financial performance through effective budgeting and cost management.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow the project portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Streamline operations and implement innovative construction practices.
- Collaborate with Finance to monitor financial health, manage risks, and improve profitability.
- Develop strategic partnerships within the construction and real estate sectors.
- Align project portfolios with company goals and client expectations.
- Represent the organization at industry events to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements
<b>Qualifications:</b>
<b></b>- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; an MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in construction, particularly with high-rise towers and large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of contract law, negotiation, and managing complex contracts.
- PMP or Chartered Professional Engineering certification (or equivalent) is preferred.


<b>Skills:</b>
<b></b>- Expertise in creating reports and presentations for executive or stakeholder review.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is an advantage.
- Knowledge of financial management, business development, and project oversight.
- Familiarity with modern construction technologies and best practices.
