About the role
As the Uniform Manager for Atlantis Dubai, you will oversee and manage the daily uniform operation, ensuring all dirty and clean uniforms are managed as per resort standards. You will manage the complete uniform system coordination and set up and manage the coordination of uniform laundry and dry cleaning. You will also oversee and coordinate all team members, ensuring the operation is running efficiently and resort uniform is managed as per resort standard procedures and policies, whilst also inspecting and ensuring all tools and equipment are functioning as per resort standards.
Other key responsibilities to this role will include but are not limited to coordinating and managing the daily coordination of laundry deliveries in and out of the hotel and conducting inspections at the outside laundry facility. As well as coordinating and managing the five uniform room location ensuring all the areas are well maintained, monitoring the daily uniform operations on respective areas, coordinating and monitoring delivery of uniforms daily and monitoring all guest alterations, ensuring all guest alterations are received and returned to the guest as per resort standards and policies.
About you
The successful Uniform Manager candidate will have a proven track record managing staff, experience in large scale uniform inventory management and experience in large scale hotel/resort operations, theme park, cruise ships or similar in housekeeping/uniform room. You will also have experience working with garment/uniform suppliers on development/mass production and preferably have knowledge using Invotech uniform system and Metalproghetti conveyor systems, although, any garment/uniform/conveyor system experience will be considered and is essential. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to complete day to day administrative tasks.
