Job Summary:
The Project Manager/Sr. manager will oversee and coordinate various projects within our manufacturing operations to ensure timely completion, adherence to budgetary constraints, and alignment with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects related to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products from inception through to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these parameters.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, finance, supply chain, and commercial to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards throughout project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, project management policies and procedures, and efficiency.
- Prepare and present project reports, including milestones achieved, budget adherence, and lessons learned.
- Lead and supervise the PMO team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment through effective leadership and mentorship.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience of 4 years as a Project Manager in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, etc.).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) is preferred.
- PMP or PMI certification or equivalent is a plus.
