Job Description

Job Summary:


The Project Manager/Sr. manager will oversee and coordinate various projects within our manufacturing operations to ensure timely completion, adherence to budgetary constraints, and alignment with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and project management methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage projects related to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products from inception through to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these parameters.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, finance, supply chain, and commercial to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards throughout project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, project management policies and procedures, and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including milestones achieved, budget adherence, and lessons learned.
  • Lead and supervise the PMO team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment through effective leadership and mentorship.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience of 4 years as a Project Manager in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) is preferred.
  • PMP or PMI certification or equivalent is a plus.
