Manager - Logistics

Job Description



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the logistics operations for our infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain management.
Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies for infrastructure projects
Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, transportation, and inventory management
Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement
Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize waste and stockouts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with project timelines and objectives
Develop and manage relationships with key vendors and service providers
Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 20 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on infrastructure projects
Proven track record of leading and managing logistics teams
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
Proficiency in transportation management software, inventory control systems, and ERP platforms
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
Excellent project management skills and familiarity with project management methodologies
In-depth understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or PMP are preferred
Familiarity with construction supply chain and infrastructure logistics is highly desirable
