MANAGER - FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

1. Financial Oversight: 

• Manage the facilities budget / business plan effectively, ensuring cost-effectiveness, monitoring expenses, and optimizing resource allocation to meet specific needs.

1. Team Leadership and Development:

• Manage and lead the facilities team, promoting a positive work culture, encouraging professional development, and ensuring a cohesive team focused on achieving the department goals.

1. Space Optimization:

• Strategically plan and optimize space utilization, coordinating office layouts, moves, and fit out works to accommodate evolving requirements while fostering a conducive work environment.

1. Maintenance Approach:

• Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of tasks.
• Implement an effective maintenance strategy and manage it to ensure that landlord assets are maintained at an optimal operational level.

1. Assets’ Management:

• Manage the inventory of assets, equipment and materials owned by DP World within the area.
• Oversee the asset life cycle assessment plan, create replacement plan and track progress.
• Create and promote the integrated management approach including processes and procedures to support business growth.

1. Vendor and Contract Management:

• Manage contracts with service providers to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.

1. Emergency Preparedness:

• Develop and implement emergency response plans by coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure a swift and effective response to any facility-related emergencies.

1. Problem Solving:

• Address and resolve facility-related issues promptly, employing effective problem-solving skills.

1. Reporting:

• Provide regular reports, maintain accurate records, offer insights into facilities' performance, and promptly address any concerns.

1. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with other departments, aligning facilities management with broader organizational objectives.
• Undertake any other duties as may be required by the level of the post, and as required by the Senior Management.

1. FM Project Management:

• Manage all FM projects within the specified area from RFQ to job award.
• Overview of the execution of all FM Projects within the specified area taking into consideration all technical and commercial aspects.
• Maintain completion certificate and any associated documents (Warranty, T&C Reports, as built drawings etc.)

1. Sustainability Initiatives:

• Promote environmentally friendly practices, implementing initiatives to reduce ecological footprint within the facilities.

1. Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay informed about relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices and ensure facilities consistently adhere to all legal requirements.

1. Safety Management:

• Ensure facilities comply with safety regulations and conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards, prioritizing the well-being of occupants.
