Title and Summary


Manager, EEMEA Finance Business Partner Commercial and New Payment Flows (CNPF)Overview:

o Reporting into the VP Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Eastern Europe Middle East and Africa (EEMEA), this role supports and partners with the EVP Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) Lead and his business teams in EEMEA, namely the teams of Commercial, SME, and Mastercard Move (Cross border services and Send)

o The person will work in close collaboration & leverage the other teams with FP&A and the broader Finance team & the local markets. He/she will be responsible for coaching the teams to provide insights and support to our internal business partners to support the implementation of the company’s strategy and objectives through the development and tracking of meaningful KPIs, Provide insights & analytics to help improve profitability of markets, customers and products, including driving revenue generating activities such as supporting the launch of new products/services, pricing and competitive analysis

o Key responsibilities include managing key stakeholders in the team, Business & Financial Planning for the Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) team, providing Forecast accuracy, providing valuable Insights & Analytics on CNPF performance, support strategic projects

• Role:

o Expected to “provide insights, not only data, and develop the story”, challenging the business with clear commercial messaging
o Ensuring efficient and effective execution against key planning deliverables including the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly performance reviews across all areas of Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF).
o Developing a thorough understanding of the different product areas as well as the markets and customers.
o Developing and/or reviewing of financial models to support business strategies.
o Aligning of regional and corporate processes and outcomes during the budgeting and quarterly/monthly performance review cycles, and to prepare comprehensive briefing materials and analysis as needed for regional leads.
o Constantly engaging with the business leads by providing high value feedback and analysis to promote achievement of objectives and overall development of business while ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and processes
o Identifying potential financial risks and help Management take appropriate mitigating decisions

o Responsible for the Business & Financial Planning for CNPF in EEMEA and in particular:
-supporting Business case development for new initiatives
-creating detailed reporting on country/divisional level & leveraging product Dashboard
-ensure alignment with Divisions & help to deliver the LTP for EEMEA.
-provide financial and analytic support for investment opportunities and assists with strategy and process improvements related to budgeting, forecasting, systems and other key areas to ensure alignment with market objectives
-proactively identifies ways to improve processes and executes agreed upon improvements
-embodies the Leading Beyond Finance initiative by partnering with regions, business units, business partners and/or corporate to assist in developing, analyzing, and validating new business opportunities
-fosters a strong control environment to mitigate risks

All about you:

o Track record of developing and leveraging key relationships to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders
o Experience modeling and performing predictive analytics to review complex financial and operational analysis and scenarios
o Experience working with a diverse, multi-functional accounting and/or finance group
o Successfully supports and advises their area of business on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events
o Extensive experience for process improvement initiatives along with developing procedures for implementation
o Demonstrated successful oversight of the management and resolution of high-risk issues to ensure completeness and efficiency
