Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Lead the digital and analytics solutions portfolio for the Group Company while integrating cutting-edge technologies to achieve transformative business outcomes. Exercise comprehensive oversight of the digital and analytics solutions department and manage the execution of digital strategies, thus driving innovation, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making capabilities and positioning the organization as an industry leader in digital and analytical advancements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Digital and analytics strategy development
- Formulate and lead the execution of a comprehensive digital and analytics solutions strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives and the strategic imperatives of ADNOC GD&CS.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the digital and analytics solutions portfolio to propose and implement solutions that support the Group Company in reaching its digital transformation objectives.
- Stay updated onemerging trends and industry leading practices in data analytics and AI.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, industry experts, and research institutions.
Adherence to HQ directives and ADNOC group policies:
- Ensure the timely implementation and delivery of HQ directives and ADNOC Group policies within the digital and analytics solutions function of the Group Company, including compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with any jurisdictional regulations and compliances specific to the operational locality of the Group Company, in partnership with the business teams.
- Continuously monitor HQ directives and relevant ADNOC Group policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and update the digital landscape as necessary to align with these directives and policies.
- Promptly report any non-conformities or deviations from the above to the VP Digital and collaborate on developing an appropriate and timely resolution plan.
Data-driven insights, advanced analytics and AI integration
- Translate the vision for implementing emerging technologies across the Group Company into actionable plans and establish a clear approach for leveraging data and AI to drive value for the organization.
- Ensure data is collected, stored, analyzed, and utilized in alignment with the data governance strategy.
- Cascade advanced analytics techniques within the team and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to run predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Collaborate with business to identify opportunities for technology-driven process improvements and cost savings.
- Identify and integrate AI and machine learning into applicable business processes to generate actionable insights.
- Optimize digital solutions to enhance managed services/user experience, utilizing Robotics Process Automation (RPA).
- Formulate and implement business dashboards to support the business in utilizing data for efficient decision making.
Digital product development and integration:
- Partner with business to understand their requirements and translate them into digital products and projects.
- Lead the end-to-end development and execution of custom applications tailored to specific business requirements, while ensuring scalability of technical and corporate solutions.
- Manage the integration of applications and digital products, both internally developed and third-party, to create a cohesive digital ecosystem.
- Ensure that technical support is provided to resolve complex issues for the portfolio of technical and corporate solutions.
- Partner with HQ and business to manage and oversee the implementation of “One Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)” and ensure integration of ERP systems with third-party applications/ other unified corporate & technical solutions Implemented by GD&CS
Effective project and program management
- Manage the end-to-end project portfolio of digital and analytics solutions, ensuring projects are completed within budget, and that they align with stakeholder, requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Direct testing activities, oversee the defect resolution process, and drive user training to ensure implementation in alignment with established quality standards.
- Oversee change management activities as part of digital analytics solutions deployment.
Digital & analytics solutions support and maintenance.
- Manage the maintenance and users support of Digital & Analytical Solutions to ensure reliability and availability of the applications.
Major projects & plants expansions
- Support, technical evaluations and integration for technical solutions deployed as part of plant expansion and sites projects if/when applicable.
Business continuity planning
- Prepare the digital and analytics solutions function to handle unexpected disruptions and/or crisis.
- Formulate, test, and maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Risk management
- Identify and assess cybersecurity risks related to digital and analytics solutions/tools.
- Develop risk mitigation and management strategies to reduce the likelihood and impact of cyberattacks.
Audit support and audit findings resolution ownership
- Support and shape the planning, execution, and reporting of audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Assess and prioritize areas for audit focus, considering business risks and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans, implement corrective measures, and track progress towards resolution.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify underlying issues contributing to audit findings, enabling proactive problem-solving.
- Guide and train team members and relevant stakeholders on audit best practices, compliance requirements, and effective resolution techniques.
- Communicate audit results and progress to senior management and audit committees, ensuring transparency and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSMinimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT engineering or equivalent.
