Job Description

The Manager will support the Visa Consulting & Analytics team to deliver high impact projects to our airline clients in MENA. We are looking for motivated individuals who will provide analysis to shape the insights we deliver to clients, support consulting projects delivery and participate in growing the practice.


Responsibilities include:


  • Conduct data analysis using Visa and external data to understand airline client needs across the focus markets and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with clients across their assigned region.
  • Work closely with the engagement team, manager and client representative to deliver the projects
  • Run project work stream on a day-to-day basis, including conducting research and data analysis and synthesizing them to develop insights and recommendations
  • Assume full project management responsibility for the assigned project and be the primary liaison with the client and internal stakeholders for project updates
  • Support or lead on developing hypotheses, contribute to conclusions and assist other senior team members in presenting back to the client
  • Support or lead on project economics and to manage risk and quality of the project deliverables
  • Provide client project implementation support as needed
  • Support knowledge sharing with consulting teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients
  • Support business development initiatives by preparing proposals for new client work, assisting in developing our product offerings, and marketing to external and internal clients
  • Contribute to the development of Visa Consulting & Analytics thought leadership materials in airline business
  • The role requires onsite presence in the Client side in UAE majority of the time

Work closely with other Visa groups, including Products, BD, Risk, Marketing, Digital Solutions, Digital Partnerships & Ventures, Innovation Center etc., to ensure a seamless Consulting experience



Qualifications

Key Competencies
A well-qualified candidate will have expertise in Payments Consulting across key areas of focus
o Business needs of especially airlines and merchants in loyalty and cobrands: Portfolio, Digital, and Risk e.g., strategy, acquisition, customers and channels full potential, innovation, mobile platforms, digital ecosystems, authorization etc.
o Best practices to meet customer needs across the customer lifecycle stages (acquisition, activation, usage, reactivation and retention)
o Industry trends, such as evolving economics of payments, new customer value propositions, increasing digitalization and development of digital channels, increasing use of advanced analytics and other technologies in payments and targeting, changing regulatory environment, etc.



• This is an onsite Client support position. The role is expected to work in the Client office in UAE 4 days a week.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred
• At least 6 years of overall work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in management consulting and deep consulting skills and client engagement capabilities including
• Airlines experience is preferrable
• Combination of regional and global experience is also desired
• Diplomatic skills to work in a multi-functional environment and ability to extract desired outcomes.
• Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients and VISA
• Highly analytical with advanced PowerPoint skills and Excel skills
• Superior project management skills. Fluent communicator
• Results driven, flexible and both internally and externally customer focused
• Able to travel frequently and work on client site
• Self-motivated and able to use own initiative with limited direction
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter-disciplinary groups
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
