Job Description: Machinery Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Machinery Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in maintaining and repairing various types of machinery and systems. The technician will play a crucial role in implementing maintenance procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring optimal operational efficiency while adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols following industry best practices and safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment behavior for strategic maintenance planning.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly, prioritizing tasks and troubleshooting technical issues effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure clear communication regarding maintenance updates and equipment conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with:
- Automatic control / Numerical control systems
- Electrical power distribution
- Repairing air compressors and generators
- Mechanical systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Vacuum and spraying pumps
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in woodworking machine maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions under pressure.
- Proficient in preventive maintenance methods, including frequent inspections and servicing to identify potential issues early.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear interactions with colleagues and supervisors regarding maintenance updates and reports.
