Maintenance Planner

Reporting to Technical Manager, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for Planning & Scheduling (P&S), Procurement & Contracting (P&C) of Maintenance activities in Jebel Ali and Fujairah Terminals. He shall also support on maintenance stores inventory management activities as part of Planning / Scheduling process.
1. Periodic review and implement improvement to Maintenance Planning and Scheduling (P&S), Procurement and Contracting (P&C) system and related work processes.
2. Oversee all maintenance work requests and work order systems and processes within the SAP system.
3. Review, clarify and coordinate closely with respective discipline Maintenance Supervisors on all Terminals’ Breakdown and Preventive Maintenance activities.
4. Lead planning and scheduling maintenance activities, determining spares requirements, allocating and coordinating man-hours and external services support, and overseeing the budget.
5. Source, coordinate and execute purchase requisition / purchase order of maintenance services, spares and establish close coordination with Group Procurement and Contracting team for on time availability and delivery of material / services.
6. Prepare and periodically update related discipline Work Packages for safe and efficient execution of all planned / scheduled activities.
7. Plan / schedule manpower / resources to support EIL OPS / EHS / Project Team, in consultation with respective Maintenance Superintendent / Discipline Maintenance Supervisor.
8. Coordinate external maintenance / service contracts for carrying out various PM / calibration / service activities.
9. Review and develop all recovery work plans towards all SAP MNT work requests / work orders backlog with respective discipline Maintenance Supervisor.
10. Lead and coordinate closely with Stores Inventory team on assets’ spares inventory levels (Critical and Non-Critical), Equipment Master Data, Bill of Material (BOM) in accordance with SAP inventory management system.
11. Coordinate and record stores inventory movement within Terminals and external parties. (Local and Overseas shipment / delivery)
12. Manage List of Maintenance Contractors for Terminals’ Maintenance, Inspection & Integrity program.
13. Prepare and maintain statistical maintenance and technical reports (including Work completion history reports, material status, Corporate / Business Unit Maintenance related KPIs).
• Engineering degree / Diploma or equivalent certificate with a minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Oil Terminal / Oil Refinery of which 3 years’ experience in Maintenance Planning / Scheduling works.
• Knowledge in Technical / Equipment specifications, datasheet, and OEM manuals.
• Knowledge and experience in CMMS platform such as SAP and ARIBA.
• Good understanding of recognized Industry Standards in Maintenance and Safety.
Additionally, the following in depth skill knowledge is a bare minimum:
• Ability to work in the hazardous environment with the required knowledge level and skills related to Maintenance and EHS system and procedures.
• Strong MS Office (excel spreadsheets and presentations) skills.
