KBR employs approximately 34,000 people worldwide (including our joint ventures), with customers in more than 80 countries, and operations in 40 countriesJob RequirementKBR is looking for a Maintenance Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi – UAE for a Maintenance ProjectSeeking for UAE Nationals only Abilities, Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and Lead a multi-disciplined maintenance teamEnsure maintenance schedules are accurate and achievableDevelop OEM contracts as directed by Client and maintenance requirementsAuthor the maintenance section in the weekly and monthly reportsWork with the CMMS / Planning Engineer to ensure maintenance routines areaccurate and justifiedAppraise and update preventative maintenance routines in CMMS as applicableDevelop maintenance backlog reportsDevelop a priority system for maintenance repairs against time and criticalityDevelop a call out system for emergency breakdown supportEnsure there is robust forward planning for common user services (CUS) inscaffolding, lifting and insulation, which allows for the completion of all maintenanceto scheduleEngage competent local contractors to carry out all CUS workDirect the team to support shutdown and turnaround planning and resourcingBe aware of the priority of predictive maintenance requirementsEnsure the team maintains critical materials holdings with minimum and maximumstock identifiedEnsure engineers audit the spares holdings advised by the EPC Contractor foraccuracy and sufficiencyEnsure self and team are fully conversant with the technical documentation availablefrom EPC Contractor and OEMsEnsure self and team are fully conversant with all technical documentation requiredfor maintenance and confirm it is available or resourced through OEMs or vendorsReview competency of sub-contractors and engage local sub-contractors to supportmaintenance as requiredEngage competent local contractors to undertake non maintenance tasks, such asroute clearance, chemical replenishment, closed drain / sceptic tank evacuation etc.Review MOCs for technical accuracy and deliveryProvide technical input to modifications and work packsDevelop a certification process to bring plant back on line after major maintenanceor modifications ensuring integrity before handing over to operateAnswer technical queries and guide sub-contract personnel on maintenance andbest practicesMonitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement in plant andpersonnelBe conversant with Contract KPIs and support their delivery and attainmentEnsure completion reports are submitted against all work and shutdowns /turnaroundsEnsure good knowledge of the Contracted ServicesCommence and design a checklist system for routine maintenance tasksParticipate in, or cooperate with; internal or external audits respectivelyChair a weekly team meeting and maintain an action and minute log for discussionAttend weekly management meetingCompile or receive detailed written Handover prior to; and completion of leave and/orfield breaksCarry out HSE and technical audits and inspections as directedHave a full awareness of the Company Code of Conduct and Business EthicsConduct investigations into any HSE incidents or Technical occurrencesStrong HSE awareness in the following areas: Risk recognition / risk awareness Permits to Work, Toolbox Talks & Checklists Awareness of H2S and N2 hazards Correct use of PPE Instrument and control system isolations Simultaneous Operations hazards Dropped objects & trip hazard mitigation Working at height Plant Isolations Report HSE incidents and all near missesWorking RelationshipsEssential to maintain a good working relationship with:Site Team LeaderAll Management Team Members and EngineersClient ManagersMajor In-Country Subcontract Managers, Vendors and SuppliersExternal OEMs and VendorsQualifications, Experience & AttributesDegree or equivalent in a compatible discipline to the roleMinimum of 20 years’ experience in Oil and Gas offshore/onshore oil fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management positionProven leadership abilityCan create systems to track and improve maintenance operationsGood knowledge of CMMS, preferably with SAP-PM exposureExcellent HSE appreciation and awarenessWillingness to work and foster good working relationships in an integrated team fromdiverse locationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsExcellent written and oral English is essential, supported by good report writing abilityArabic language essentialInterested and suitable candidates please apply for the role.
