Could you be the full-time onsite Maintenance Engineering Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive engineering management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the charge in maintaining and enhancing the performance of complex rail systems, ensuring their reliability and safety. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Sourcing, Industrial teams, and Product Railway Safety management), produce and manage technical documentation, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
Managing the production of clear and concise technical documentation, such as specifications and test procedures,
Leading the preparation for Asset Performance review meetings with clients and other stakeholders,
Regularly reviewing Maintenance, Reliability, Overhaul, and associated documents for currency and proper formatting,
Acting as a technical expert in Rail systems and continuously developing expertise in the field,
Proposing and defining the integration of advanced technology to enhance system reliability,
Developing local electronic repair capabilities and leading the adoption of technologies like 3D printing,
Demonstrating the business and technical case for localizing maintenance activities,
Leading the Performance management for the project, including responding to client requests and feedback,
Maintaining and developing Service engineering skills and competencies,
Collaborating with Services Engineering and Platforms to improve the Services portfolio

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.,
Experience or understanding of managing engineering projects within the rail industry.,
Knowledge of rail systems including RSK, Signalling, and Power Systems.,
Familiarity with HealthHub, predictive maintenance, and data analysis automation tools.,
A certification in project management or excellent communication skills.,
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.,
Proven leadership and team coordination abilities.,
Adaptability to new technologies such as 3D printing.,
Continuous learning mindset to develop and improve service engineering skills.,
Resilience in managing complex technical documentation and maintenance plans.
