Job Description

Owing to the ongoing expansion of the MacArtney Group, we are seeking a Sales Manager to help grow our new Middle East operation, which will serve the Middle East and North African (MENA) markets.


The ideal candidate will be dynamic, committed, and independent, with a solid technical background in systems and solutions sales for the marine & offshore, ocean science, and naval industries.


As a Sales Manager, you will support current customers and identify new opportunities for MacArtney's underwater technology portfolio in the MENA region. You will report to the Managing Director for MacArtney Middle East.


Areas of responsibility

Your primary responsibilities include growing and expanding MacArtney Middle East through market insights and cultivating solid relationships with clients.

  • Supporting and contributing to sales projects across different segments, identifying potential customers and partnership opportunities
  • Assisting with tendering by collecting material, organising layouts, and preparing presentations
  • Cooperating with product management, direct sales partners, and clients
  • Handling orders and passing them on to project management
  • Assisting with updating the sales pipeline and forecasting
  • Budgeting
  • Building and maintaining a client base and sales responsibilities
  • Facilitating communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new needs
  • Visiting new and existing clients and partners in the long term
  • Business development, including acquiring new clients and partners in coordination with the direct sales team
  • Supporting the development of new partners through product training

Also included in your responsibilities

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new partnerships
  • Supporting and contributing to the entire sales process in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Compiling market analysis and presentations related to direct sales
  • Adhering to MacArtney's processes, procedures, and general guidelines

Furthermore, you will engage with both internal and external contacts, coordinating and communicating with global sales teams, operations, product managers, clients, and external partners at various levels.
