About the Job: 


An opportunity has arisen for an Lifeguard Operations Manager to join Lifeguard Operations in Wild Wadi Waterpark. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: 


  1. To organize the most effective and efficient deployment of all colleagues ensuring that the appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
  2. To liaise with other operational and non operational departments within Wild Wadi Water Park and Jumeirah Beach Resorts in order to facilitate the overall efficient functioning of the Lifeguard Operations Department.
  3. To organize and implement development training for members of the Management Team.
  4. To manage a portfolio with staff numbers of not higher than 70 colleagues per portfolio(Beaches 46, Kids Play Structure 30, Flow Rider Team 30,Schedule) 
  5. To schedule and perform colleague Performance Appraisals as stipulated by the Performance Appraisal Procedure.
  6. To ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting procedures and cost control methods liaising with the Accounts Department and the Director of Operations maximum ordering level per order of 50,000 dhs.
  7. To respond to all ‘Major’ first aid incidents and guest queries or complaints in an efficient and professional manner.
  8. To maintain a high standard of working relations with the Management Team by attending daily and weekly meetings and the effective communication of the specialist areas of their work. (Beaches, Pool Cleaning, Incentives, Schedules etc.)
  9. To conduct and review all disciplinary issues in accordance with laid down policies and procedures thereby stabilizing colleague retention and increasing colleague satisfaction.
  10. To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require. Fit and Healthy to manage by walking around.

About you: 


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 


  1. Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Lifeguard qualification. 
  2. At least 1 year experience in a leadership role pertinent to lifeguard operations or customer service role.
  3. Must have English or Business English equivalent, 
  4. Competent with the skills required to be a Special Facilities Lifeguard
  5. Outdoor person comfortable working in the sun and water
  6. Friendly outgoing person with identifiable leadership skills, 
  7. open minded toward a multi-national organization 
  8. Fit and Healthy
