Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Legal Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in the UAE legal environment, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), liquidation processes, and legal drafting. The Legal Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and safeguarding the company's interests.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
    • Lead and manage the legal aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiations, and documentation.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes and compliance with UAE laws.
  • Liquidation Processes:
    • Handle and oversee the legal procedures involved in company liquidations.
    • Advise the management team on legal requirements and ensure compliance throughout the liquidation process.
  • Legal Drafting and Documentation:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, and complies with UAE laws and company policies.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Monitor and ensure the company’s adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards in the UAE.
    • Provide timely updates on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company’s operations.
  • Legal Advisory:
    • Offer expert legal advice to senior management on various business and legal matters.
    • Develop strategies to mitigate legal risks and provide proactive solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Liaise with external law firms, regulatory bodies, and other third parties to represent the company's interests.
    • Build strong relationships with internal teams to provide seamless legal support.
  • Team Leadership and Mentoring:
    • Lead and mentor junior legal team members to develop their skills and ensure high-quality legal output.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
    • Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized institution; a Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 2 years of legal experience in the UAE, with a strong focus on M&A and liquidation.
    • Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and corporate governance.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.
