Job Description
DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS Identify the project control requirements of the assigned project(s). To create work, break down structures suitable to the program of the project. Analyze Planning data as required to achieve time-based and resource-based schedule. Implement and track the project monitoring and forecasting systems of projects. To maintain progress data on assigned projects and to prepare/verify progress reports. To liaise with commercial invoices for the exchange and updating of information related to manhours, costs, and project planning variations. To review the subcontractors planning and actual work progress. To prepare the project resource requirements / projections based on the live update of the schedule. Prepare the bidding schedule for the projects during the tendering stage. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Graduate in engineering discipline. Good working knowledge of Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project Planning software. Experience as a Lead/Project Planner in a major shipyard / oil and gas organization with 5 to 6 years of experience. Engineering or Marine background. Computer Proficient. Good working knowledge of Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project planning software. Good working experience as a project planner in major shipyards/oil and gas organizations. Good working knowledge of overall yard functioning and resource allocations.
