About the job LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Lead Processing Engineer to manage and oversee the engineering phase of oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ADNOC projects and be immediately available to join.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead and manage the processing engineering discipline during the engineering phase, including FEED and detailed engineering.
  • Ensure the design and execution of processing systems comply with project specifications, standards, and ADNOC requirements.
  • Develop and review process designs, PFDs, and P&IDs to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct simulations, calculations, and process optimization studies.
  • Review vendor documents and technical submissions for processing systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and electrical engineers.
  • Interface with ADNOC representatives, ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to the processing engineering team and support project management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, ADNOC specifications, and HSE requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance and control activities related to processing systems and documentation.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide solutions for design and operational challenges.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in processing engineering for oil and gas projects.
  • Proven experience working on ADNOC projects.
  • Expertise in the engineering phase, including FEED and detailed engineering.
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, codes, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with international codes such as API, ASME, and IEC.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills under tight deadlines.
  • Must be immediately available to join.
