KBR is looking for Lead Piping Engineer for a PMC project to be based in– Abu Dhabi UAE
1. JOB PURPOSE:
Provide technical expertise on all engineering subject matters about Piping Engineering during EXECUTE stage and within the project team including Layouts, Design, Stress, Supports, and Piping Materials. Coordinate and interface with other disciplines, Operations, and EPC Contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Piping engineering design execution and integrity.
Provide technical support where required relating to Piping activities for the production facilities and Piping design at the Plant to ensure technical and operational safety, integrity, constructability and reliability of the assets and to minimize downtime of the facilities.
6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Piping or Mechanical engineering
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
12 years of experience, including at least 5 years’ experience at senior level with multi discipline exposure in Piping Systems/ Engineering in the oil refining or gas industry related EPC organisation..
Good organizing ability Strong Coordination and negotiation skills Problem-solving skills. Good Team building skills. Good interpersonal and influencing ability. Good presentation and communication skills. Good knowledge of spoken and written English Must have 2 years of experience in similar position
