LEAD MECHANICAL/HVAC ENGINEER (EPC)

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead HVAC Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience, including working on ADNOC projects during the Engineering Phase of oil and gas developments. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development of HVAC system designs for oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes.
• Perform detailed calculations for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including load analyses and equipment sizing.
• Prepare and review technical documents such as P&IDs, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Manage and oversee all HVAC engineering activities during the Engineering Phase, including FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, and Civil) to ensure HVAC integration within the project scope.
• Ensure all HVAC designs adhere to ADNOC standards and guidelines, as well as international codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO, SMACNA).
• Address HSE considerations, particularly for hazardous areas and classified zones.
• Prepare technical requisitions, evaluate vendor bids, and review vendor documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers and suppliers for technical clarifications and equipment selection.
• Conduct thorough reviews of engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and other project assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases as needed.
• Address site queries, resolve issues, and implement necessary modifications to HVAC designs.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 15+ years of experience as an HVAC Engineer, with significant exposure to oil and gas projects and ADNOC standards.
• Proven track record in the Detailed Engineering of oil and gas projects.
• Proficient in HVAC system design, load calculations, equipment selection, and relevant software tools (e.g., HAP, AutoCAD, Revit).
• In-depth understanding of international HVAC codes and standards, including ADNOC specifications.
• Based in UAE or willing relocate
