Job Summary:
Lead Engineer - Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of infrastructure maintenance and operations within assigned communities. This role requires a strong technical background in civil, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing engineering, with a focus on ensuring the efficient and safe operation of community infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all community infrastructure, including roads, pavements, drainage systems, water and electricity networks, and landscaping.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of infrastructure systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and ensure the long-term sustainability of infrastructure assets.
- Manage infrastructure projects, including upgrades, renovations, and new installations.
- Oversee the work of contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and timely completion of projects.
- Monitor and control infrastructure budgets and expenses.
- Respond promptly to resident requests and complaints related to infrastructure issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure maintenance and operations, preferably within a community management or property management setting.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
