Lead Backend Architect

​I am currently partnered with a global company at the forefront of online trading. With millions of retail clients worldwide, providing access to a variety of different markets and over 450 employees across the globe, they’re considered a market leader within the industry and have some incredibly exciting expansion plans here in the Middle East.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and talented Lead Backend Architect to focus on their trading platform.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve performance issues to improve the platform's responsiveness and efficiency.

  
  

• Promote the adoption of comprehensive testing processes, such as unit testing, integration testing, and automation, to guarantee the application's reliability and stability.

  
  

• Advocate for thorough testing practices, including unit tests, integration tests, and automation, to ensure the application's reliability and stability.

  
  

• Guide, mentor, and oversee a group of developers, QA professionals, and business analysts. Define clear objectives, set performance targets, and create career development plans for each team member.

  
  

• Cultivate a collaborative environment by working closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  
  

• Work with cross-functional teams to design scalable and resilient architectures for our trading applications, focusing on performance, security, and user experience.

  
  

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.

  
  

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Golang

  
  

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a technical lead or similar role, particularly in developing mission-critical systems or financial applications.programming, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

  
  

• 4+ years in a management position

  
  

• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and REST API design.

  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

  
  

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
