Develop and maintain Building Information Models (BIM) for landscape architecture projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Collaborate with landscape architects, designers, and other project stakeholders to integrate landscape elements into overall project models.
Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings, renderings, and visualizations for various landscape features such as hardscapes, softscapes, and irrigation systems.
Ensure BIM models are coordinated with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, resolving any clashes or inconsistencies.
Update and manage BIM libraries, ensuring the availability of standard landscape components and materials.
Participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations to optimize landscape designs using BIM technology.
Prepare quantity take-offs, schedules, and reports derived from the BIM model to support project planning and execution.
Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and protocols, contributing to the development and implementation of BIM workflows.
Provide technical support and training to project team members on BIM tools and processes related to landscape architecture.
Stay updated on advancements in BIM technology and landscape design practices, implementing improvements as necessary.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, preferably in landscape or architectural projects.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Strong understanding of landscape design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
Ability to create detailed and accurate models, drawings, and visualizations for complex landscape projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Familiarity with BIM standards and best practices.
