We are looking for a dynamic Landscape Architect with a strong portfolio and experience in leading teams to join us for a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will bring fresh, creative designs, have robust technical skills, and possess expertise in both softscape and hardscape projects.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-quality landscape plans for residential, commercial, and public projects. Lead and manage a team of landscape designers, junior architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met within deadlines. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate ideas into sustainable and functional landscape designs. Prepare detailed site plans, conceptual drawings, and technical schematics using various design tools and software. Analyze environmental and land surveys to create designs that consider the local ecosystem, soil quality, and sustainability goals. Ensure designs comply with Dubais zoning laws, environmental regulations, and urban planning guidelines. Select appropriate plant species, materials, and construction techniques that meet project and environmental standards. Oversee project execution, including coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure that design specifications are followed. Monitor project progress, troubleshoot on-site issues, and provide solutions when necessary. Contribute to cost estimation, material selection, and project timelines. Stay current with the latest trends in sustainable landscaping and urban design.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in landscape design and architecture. Proven experience in managing design teams and coordinating with contractors. Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of landscape projects. Proficiency in design tools and software including:+ AutoCAD
+ SketchUp
+ Revit
+ Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
+ Rhino
+ Lumion
+ GIS software
+ 3D rendering and visualization tools
Excellent understanding of sustainable landscaping, horticulture, and environmental impact assessments. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Contract Terms:
This is a 3-month contract with the potential for extension depending on project requirements.* Competitive compensation package based on experience.
