We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated laboratory technician to join our quality control team. the ideal candidates will have experience in a food laboratory setting and a passion for ensuring that products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Designing and executing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
Maintaining a safe work environment at the laboratory by ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols.
Arranging all laboratory substances adhering to the safety norms and storage instructions.
Scheming laboratory test procedures by assessment of observations adhering to the established protocols.
Collect and analyze sample of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Accurately record and maintain data on test results, observations, and other relevant information.
Conduct microbiological, chemical, and physical tests to detect contamination, assess composition, and verify product specifications.
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Ensure all laboratory practices adhere to standards and company protocols.
Prepare and review lab reports, standard operating procedures, and other technical documents.
Work closely with the production and quality assurance teams to address any quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Skills
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
1 year of experience working in a laboratory and 3 years of experience working in a food laboratory.
Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and equipment operation.
strong observational skills and attention to accuracy.
excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Mention certifications like HACCP, ISO training, etc.
