As a Kitchen Cook specializing in breakfast, salads, sandwiches, and pasta. You will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your designated sections. You will work under the supervision of the Sous Chef or Head Chef and collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food production and service.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Sous Chef to plan and develop menus for breakfast, salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes.
2. Prepare and cook breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes according to recipes and standards.
3. Ensure that all dishes leaving the section meet the established quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and portion size.
4. Manage stock levels for the section, including ordering ingredients, monitoring inventory, and minimizing wastage.
5. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
6. Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
7. Contribute ideas for new dishes, specials, and promotions within your areas.
