The InterContinental Hotels Group® at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. A little taste of your day-to-day
- Being knowledgeable with facilities, activities, equipment, services and other pertinent information in order to provide our young guests and parents with accurate information
- Develop and schedule creative programming for Kids Club participants in an environment conducive to growth and development.
- Ensure kids amenities and towels are always readily available.
- Conduct kids’ activities and services for in-house guest and members young guests while giving proper instruction and safety reminders
- Make sure that the Kids Club is well maintained and clean
- Provide a safe and healthy Kids club environment
- Meet and greet all guests, and potential guests, at the front of the Restaurant & Kids Club by ensuring the following
- Ensure the Restaurant & Kids Club is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both wait staff and tables are ready in line with opening standards
- Ensure Restaurant & Kids Club operating equipment is clean and in working order
- Maintaining impeccable uniform and personal presentation standards in accordance with hotel policy
- Be attentive to guests and resolve their complaints where possible, reporting all incidents to your Supervisor
- Undertakes to maintain qualifications as deemed necessary by the Hotel, ensures the safe management of the kids club environment. Including but not limited to First Aid Certification.
- Understands and strictly adheres to the Rules & Regulations established in the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, and Health & Safety.
- Take initiative always to ensure guest safety and satisfaction, being flexible with taking on other responsibilities as and when required by the hotel operation.
- Plan, organize and execute a variety of age-appropriate activities and games for children ensuring they are entertaining and educational.
- Supervise children during activities to always ensure their safety and well-being.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures, particularly those related to child safety and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in promoting kids club activities and events to hotel guests.
- Maintain Daily Opening /Closing procedures.
- Maintain Operational & Non-operational Inventory
- To report all the maintenance and follow-up to concern department and report to Supervisor & Recreation Manager
- Other Duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
What we need from you
- Previous 1 year experience in a kid’s club facility or similar role in a 4* or 5* hotel or equivalent.
- Fluent English language communication skills is required, in addition to creativity and outgoing personality.
Certificate: - Valid babysitting Certificate issued in UAE.
- Paediatric & First aid Certificate
Education: - High School Diploma or Equivalent
