The Key Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of key account projects, from strategy development through implementation and post-project review. This role works closely with the Sales Team to craft and execute robust account strategies, ensuring the effective use of sales and negotiation skills to drive business growth. The Key Account manager is responsible for nurturing existing customer relationships and also creating growth opportunities in the market through various business development tactics. Focused on key accounts in the Middle East, the position is critical to achieving revenue targets, profit growth, and fostering long-term client relationships while providing detailed reporting on performance metrics.
What You'll Do
Sell & Promote Products and Services
Sell and promote the company’s portfolio of products and services to specified industries and key prospects
Position the full range of solutions to meet customer needs and market demands effectively
Establish & Expand Market Presence
Establish the company as a leading express and domestic logistics solution for identified prospects
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, converting leads into sales
Implement Customer Solutions
Implement new solutions for both existing and new customers to strengthen loyalty and increase dependency on our services
Introduce innovative solutions that enhance customer relationships and satisfaction
Maintain & Grow Client Relationships
Service, maintain, and penetrate new and existing business accounts to drive growth
Ensure 100% retention and ownership of customers within his/her’s assigned portfolio, arrest split revenue
Build long-term partnerships by providing exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for upselling on value added projects

Execute any ad hoc job requirements as delegated by the Line Manager
Education and Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business or equivalent
Masters in Business Administration – an advantage
Knowledge and Skills
Strong financial understanding, with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions to ensure account profitability
Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills to build rapport and influence stakeholders effectively
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage clients and internal teams clearly and effectively
Proven analytical skills for evaluating customer and financial data, identifying trends, and uncovering new opportunities
Confident presentation skills to deliver compelling pitches and product solutions to clients
Strategic planning and negotiation skills, ensuring successful customer agreements and the implementation of long-term account strategies
Experience conducting customer analysis to understand business needs and tailor solutions accordingly
Ability to create and execute account strategies that drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic customer partnerships for long-term mutual success
Experience
5 – 7 years of experience in selling/ key account management in a service-based company or direct competitor
Demonstrated experience in applying service product, and customer technology knowledge
Proven track record in closing deals with large and small companies
Experience managing high-level global clients, and specific expertise within UAE/ GCC
Background in supply chain, logistics, and last-mile operations
