Job Description

  • This role involves a wide range of maintenance tasks, addressing day-to-day issues that arise within the hotel.
  • This includes repairs to various fixtures and fittings.
  • Repairing and replacing tiles, flooring, and wall coverings.
  • Fixing damaged shelving and furniture.
  • Repairing or replacing windows, doors, and locks.
  • Performing general painting and plaster repair work.
  • Handling basic plumbing repairs and sealant replacements.
  • Contributing to the overall upkeep of the hotel by identifying and addressing potential maintenance problems before they escalate.

Qualifications

  • A broad understanding of general maintenance practices is crucial. This includes familiarity with various repair techniques.
  • Clear communication with guests and other staff members is essential.
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance is highly valued.
