Job Description
- Assist in preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Support the creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure accuracy of materials as per project requirements.
- Update and maintain records of electrical designs and modifications in project documentation.
- Assist senior engineers in overseeing electrical installation and commissioning activities.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure electrical work complies with project specifications and safety protocols.
- Help troubleshoot basic electrical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on task progress to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
- Ensure all work adheres to ADNOC safety and quality standards.
- Report any safety hazards or compliance issues immediately to senior project staff.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
- Engage in on-the-job training to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Stay updated on ADNOC standards, electrical codes, and best practices for oil and gas projects.
- Take part in professional development sessions as provided by the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in oil and gas or construction environments. Exposure to ADNOC or similar projects is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations (IEC, IEEE) relevant to oil and gas.
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards is preferred.
