We are seeking a Junior Draftsman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in drafting and design within the construction industry. As a Junior Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings, blueprints, and plans for various construction projects. You will work closely with senior draftsmen and engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects
Collaborate with engineers and senior draftsmen to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
Revise and modify drawings as per feedback and project changes
Maintain drawing files and documentation for future reference
Assist in the preparation of material lists and cost estimates
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience as a draftsman in the construction industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Diploma or certification in drafting or a related field is preferred
