Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our organization's technology infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to our employees.
- Respond to and resolve IT-related issues through our ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related problems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues for both Windows and Mac operating systems
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals
- Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect company data and systems
- Conduct regular system updates and patches to ensure optimal performance and security
- Offer remote support to employees using various tools and technologies
- Document technical solutions and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve support processes and enhance user experience
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices and new technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and implementation
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred)
- Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and support processes
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support critical IT operations
