IT Manager - PE/Asset Management/FS

You will play a pivotal role managing the IT operations of a top-tier financial services firm.

Description
Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data security protocols.Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems, including software applications, databases, and cloud services.Leverage cloud computing technologies to optimise IT operations and ensure data integrity and availability.Develop and enforce policies and procedures for IT security, data privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.Oversee and manage major IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Oversee the provision of technical support to internal users, resolving issues promptly and effectively.


Profile
Must have experience managing an IT department in a Private Equity/Asset Management firm. Top tier consulting firms or law firm experience will also be considered.Candidates must be based in the UAE, and open to be based out of Abu Dhabi full time.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.Arabic speakers would be highly preferred.Professional IT certifications such as PMP, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, and Cyber Security certifications are highly desirable.A minimum of 10-15 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years of proven experience in IT management or a similar role, with a strong track record of managing IT operations and leading IT projects.Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including AWS or Azure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
