You will play a pivotal role managing the IT operations of a top-tier retail firm in Abu Dhabi.

Description
Oversee IT infrastructure services, including cloud server architecture, local and wide area networks, desktop applications, IT security, CCTV systems, and telecommunications.Lead the development and implementation of Microsoft Navision 2016/Business Central and LS Retail 2013 or later versions, including payroll and related systems.Manage the IT department, handling staff appraisals, career development, discipline, and overall team leadership.Work closely with management to propose, define, and deliver IT services to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Develop and maintain IT hardware, software, and maintenance procedures, ensuring efficient system upgrades and updates.Manage annual and ongoing IT budgets while driving vendor management and cost optimisation.Ensure data protection, security policies, disaster recovery plans, and risk mitigation strategies are fully implemented.


Profile
Extensive experience with Microsoft Navision 2016, and LS Retail (an added advantage).Strong understanding of PowerBI reporting, including validating data accuracy.Hands-on experience in IT security, risk management, disaster recovery planning, and creating/implementing IT policies.Experience managing cloud technologies, including network security, vendor management, and using cloud storage solutions like OneDrive.Proven leadership skills with experience managing a small IT team and outsourced staff.Ability to prioritise tasks, make critical decisions, and solve complex technical problems.Currently based in the UAE, and ability to work in Abu Dhabi 5 days a week.
