Job Description

Role summary:


The IT Manager will primarily support Iqarus and be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, communication systems and the application servers, networks to a high standard across Iqarus and all its sites. Ensuring the integrity of high availability of servers, networks and provide maximum performance for end users.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals.
  • Representation of the Function as the Head of IT Team.
  • Develop IT strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (Servers, networks, firewalls, computers, information systems, applications, and communication systems)
  • Manages and coordinates IT security resources with the objective of strengthening the organization’s security posture and maximizing the overall effectiveness of all IT security services.
  • Execution of Technology Infrastructure related projects for the development, enhancement or decommissioning of the business IT infrastructure needs.
  • Deploy Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system across Iqarus Clinics in collaboration with the EMR team and clinical team.
  • Manage backup systems for servers across Dubai and project sites effectively, monitor backup systems on a regular basis.
  • Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance and health of the IT Infrastructure and its elements.
  • Analysing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
  • Conduct DR testing procedures for Iqarus IT Infrastructure.
  • Carry out Infrastructure Projects as directed by Executive Leadership Team.
  • Management of all information security, cybersecurity controls, review of IT policy and development and release of policy manuals and updates.
  • Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget and report on expenditure
  • Ensure that Iqarus' IT infrastructure and security standards, policies, and practices are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Oversee the technical implementation and continuous enhancement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure the organization retains ISO 27001 certification.
  • Maintain Cyber Essentials Plus compliance by managing security controls, conducting regular audits, and ensuring adherence to the certification's standards.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security systems, networking and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Identity and Access Management, Security Architecture and Design, Network Security, Physical and Environmental Security, Cryptography, Application Security, Incident Response, and Cloud Security.
  • Professional Qualifications in IT infrastructure related subject desirable

  • Cloud technology (Microsoft Azure)
  • Active Directory, Group policies & Office 365 advanced administration.
  • Cyber security technologies (Microsoft Intune, Proof Point)
  • Service desk platform (Service Now)
  • Avaya VOIP telephony.
