About the job IT Manager

Responsibilities:


  1. Oversee the IT infrastructure and systems within the organization.
  2. Ensure the smooth operation of all hardware, software, and networking systems.
  3. Provide technical support and guidance to all employees, including non-technical users.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions that meet business needs.
  6. Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  7. Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to continuously improve the organization's IT capabilities.
  9. Train and mentor IT staff to enhance their skills and expertise.
  10. Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:


  1. 8-10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on managing IT systems in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in IT-related courses or equivalent education.
  3. Thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware, and software.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical users.
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  6. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  7. Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects.
  8. Certifications in relevant IT areas (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) would be advantageous.
